What is Macrobiotics?
Macrobiotics (or the way of longevity) is a philosophy rather than a rigid diet. Macrobiotics is the practice of applying the philosophy of balance in our daily lives. Understanding it as a philosophy is the key to seeing the potential as a universal way of health, happiness and peace.
Macrobiotics is a system that can be used to create extraordinary health, through using both traditional wisdom and modern knowledge to ascertain the underlying causes of an individual’s current health challenges, and make adjustments to their food and lifestyle choices that support health improvement. Not simply a diet, macrobiotic recognizes the profound effects food, environment, activities, and attitude all have on our body-mind-emotions.
A Macrobiotic consultation is an in-depth review of your overall health, diet and lifestyle leading to a diagnosis of your present condition and a full set of individual dietary and lifestyle recommendations.
In person or by phone, this consultation includes complete written recommendations, relevant special recipes, home remedies and other educational materials.
The session is followed by two follow up phone calls during 6 weeks after the consultation. The consultation lasts about 75-90 minutes.

You will learn how simple it can be to prepare healthy, natural, whole foods in our 3 hour fun-filled and extremely informative healthy cooking workshops. You will learn about “nutrient-rich”, plant based foods which are packed with a powerhouse of vitamins, minerals and essential fats. Each session is tailored to your own needs and requests.
Creating Vegan menus for restaurants and retreats
As yoga retreats become more prolific, there is a growing need for grounded conscious chefs to cook for retreats, individuals, and groups. I am here to assist you with that. I am available to create a plant-based menu or train your chefs for your restaurant or retreat.
